DIY Snowman
One of the things that makes me happy with 3D printing is the ability to run batches of unique print jobs. In this case, my daughter's class needed prizes for their holiday party.I printed 25 sets of a snowman building kit (model by Nrdaeger on Thingiverse) and designed some basic instructions for the kids. My daughter and I then bagged and labeled them all.Hopefully the kids like this as much as I liked making them! One of the things that makes me happy with 3D printing is the ability to run batches of unique print jobs. Goblet
What we recognize today as a goblet, has been around for thousands of years in one form or another. They were recorded being used as far back as ~4500BC.Goblets have been made of a variety of materials including fired clay, various metals, and glass. (Also PLA)They have served a number of uses. Some were (and some still are) used for rituals, while others were used as a way to show off one's wealth. It was also once believed that the more precious the metal, the more health benefits the goblet would impart to the drinker. So drink in this print laid out on a Lulzbot Workhorse printed in the Matterhackers Black Build Series PLA.
