Pencil Case
The pencil case I designed came out nearly flawless! Probably my best print to date.
Fidget Cubes
Been testing different sizes of cubes. I think I have gotten a good size now for both my printing process and for customers.
Spider-Man
This bust turned out beautifully! Honestly, it's the first time I've printed one without supports. Probably not going back to them.
Custom Phone Holder
I designed and printed a shower caddy for our phones! This is perfect for us since we have no ledge.
Calibration Cubes
Sometimes calibration takes way longer than I anticipate. This is just a handful of these I have. Anyone else have a growing collection of calibration cubes?
PortaPi Update
I redesigned the PortaPi V2 again. I made allowances for the hdmi cable, and realigned the VESA mount holes. Thankfully all the port dimensions worked perfectly!
Drinking Fountain Lock
I was asked to design some drinking fountain locks for work. They are to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. Print quality aside, they're working pretty well!
Micro Swiss All Metal Hotend
Look at this gorgeous all metal hot end from Micro Swiss. Very excited to print something with it!
Silky Gold NES Cartridge
I can't get over how good this Matterhackers silky gold filament looks!
T-Bevel Gauge
I am about to build some bike racks for the kids, and I thought having a t bevel gauge might be useful. So I printed one!
The PortaPi
Version 1 of the PortaPi is done! This ugly chunk of electronics and plastic is able to run games (RetroPie) and streaming videos without issue. It charges like a laptop, so it can run while on battery or plugged in, and can be used with another screen if you want to bring it somewhere. Or you can use it like an unwieldy tablet. All in all, version 1 is done. I already have ideas for version 2, which should fix some issues with this one, and hopefully slim it down a bit.
PortaPi
Over the last two weeks, whenever I have time, I have been trying to design a case for my portable gaming/media center. Lovingly dubbed the PortaPi, it acts like a powerful emulating machine and media center while looking like junk :)But really, I wanted to challenge myself to design a portable system that didn't require soldering, and anyone with the cables could print and put together. It will be pretty chunky and probably heavy than I'd like, but I'm on my way to accomplishing the goal!
