Face Masks
I have a weird work schedule right now due to the virus running rampant, and so when another university in town asked for help with facemasks for their facility, I have to set up some bulk printing. These are 60 faceshield visors printed in two print jobs. Here's hoping the post processing goes well!
RetroPie
Since my printer is pretty much occupied these days, I have been tinkering with other things. I currently have an 8gb Pi 4 running Retropie on a portable screen, all powered by an iMuto portable charger X6.I have plans to add a Roku stick and HDMI switch to this, so I will probably show more in the future.
Design Iterations
I had a chance this week to create face mask straps for my work. I wanted to add our mascot, but also keep it functional. Since this needs to bend, I didn't have a lot of layers to work with, and had to iterate a few times before I got it right. So many times we see the final product, but rarely do we see the steps taken to get to that product. In this case, it took failing four times before I succeeded. If you have something you want to do or are doing, don't let failure keep you down. Failure is learning and growing. Failure is rarely the final destination, but rather another step in the journey.

Digital Organizer Update

Digital Organizer
And now for something a little different. I have started a project that is not just 3D printing, but also wood working, programming, and a tiny bit of electronics. This is the start of a digital organizer for my family that I will hang on a wall.
Firmware Update
3D printing isn't all glamorous and beautiful. It takes a lot of time, work, and maintenance to get good results.Right now, my Ender 3 is getting an update so I can easily handle upgrades and enable safety features that I wouldn't otherwise have.
Hexagon Puzzle
I took a small break from printing face shields last weekend and I printed a few of these for my wife to give as gifts to her team at work. It's based on a game I used to play at my Oma and Opa's house when I was young. I hope to release the models soon.

Abraham Lincoln
"Four hours and seven minutes ago, I brought forth on a printer this bust. Conceived by someone on Thingiverse and requested by a student to be printed by me.Now I have engaged in printing a model, testing the limitations of what this printer, or the other printer, can successfully output." So I printed a bust of Abraham Lincoln. Turned out pretty good!
